A month in Berlin

We’ve now been here over a month!

If you read our previous post you know we are in the thick of apartment hunting here and we don’t do a lot else. On the weekends the kids ride transit free so we are trying to fit in some adventures when we can. Here is a quick recap of our month in pictures.

Shelf milk. Yep, it comes in a box and you can store it in your pantry until you open it. We tried the red box first but it is similar to whole milk and the kids didn’t care for it warm or cold. We are happily using the blue type now. Yes, we can buy milk from the refridgerated section at the store, but this is what is more common and it works for us.

An amazing chalk drawing in Prenzlauer Berg. The street art here is very cool.

How may people can I Skype with at once? The answer is many more than you can see here. They brought me to the party!

This is a European Brown Bear and he lives in a park in the middle of the city. There is a fence around him and a trench and spikes. Interesting.

We saw “Bruders” spray painted on this bench so we quick stopped to snap a photo of the brothers by it.

There are Spielplatz all over the place here. Sometimes we can see them from the road, other times they are tucked behind buildings. No matter what they are gems the kids always want to enjoy. That and ice cream.

We are enjoying learning how to live in Berlin. There are so many more experiences we hope to share with you soon.
